This former public school science teacher who also taught the science method to college students created science curriculum development courses that school districts and various organizations have used. She also pens works with fun, easy experiments that include helpful explanations and use basic materials. Her over 45 books have sold more than 2 million copies, and VanCleave continues to help encourage young scientists.
