It was cold. It was wet. It was boring. With nothing to do but eat cold cereal and sleep, Henry and Mudge’s weekend looks like it’s going to be a pretty dull one. But when Henry’s mother remembers that there’s an old refrigerator box in the basement, she comes up with a fabulous idea. Let’s build a castle! Suddenly, the weekend is no longer boring. There’s turrets to make, paper to staple, flags to furl, and (on Mudge’s part) boots to chew. It might take a little creativity, but there’s always a way to turn a long weekend into a fun one.
