This book is written as though it is the personal scrapbook kept by Dr. Watson and consists of notes, pictures, maps, photos, newspaper clippings, etc. that illustrate each of the six cases included. Also in the book are five envelopes containing additional pieces of evidence that can be removed and more closely examined such as Irene Adler's portrait and a playbill from her London operatic performance, and a will and map pertaining to "The Hound of the Baskervilles."
