This is the best Christian Child Training book I have found, and I'd recommend it above the many others that I own. It is is Bible based teaching all the way through and offers some great insights into the role and position of Christian parents, and the duties of children.

It helps understand some difficult behaviours your child may have acquired such as whining, tantrums, defiance and such, and how to deal with them, in a practical manner. If you're struggling with disciplining a really difficult child, try this book. Wish I'd found it sooner.

Just a word of caution, it does advocate use of the rod, it's not psychobabble and it deals with sin, ours and the childs.
