Formerly known as Peace Hill Press, Well-Trained Mind Press recently adopted the name that corresponds with the classical education book that drives their curriculum selection and online educational forums.
Susan Wise Bauer's The Well-Trained Mind has been around for nearly 15 years and has a lot of sway in the classical education community. Now in it's 4th edition, it recommends a number of other books by Mrs. Bauer, including her Ordinary Parent's Guide to Teaching Reading, Story of the World history, and Complete Writer program, perhaps better known as Writing With Ease & Writing with Skill, all published by WTMP. They also publish First Language Lessons by Susan's mom Jessie Wise, Creative Writer by Boris Fishman, and distribute most of Jim Weiss's audio recordings.
