Although there are several advantages to owning the consumable workbook, the CDs can be used stand-alone, but keep in mind that with this option, students will need to work out each problem on a scratch sheet, since they won’t have the consumable workbook to write in. Also, you should remind them to show all their work and write neatly so you can see where they went wrong on problems they miss.
