Reading 2A: If Skies Be Blue encourages higher-level thinking, emphasizes character traits and Biblical principles and truths, and helps students grow in reading comprehension with compelling stories. This first volume of the Reading 2 two-volume set of readers is comprised of three themed units: "Days to Remember," "Creatures Great and Small," and "Treasures." Included in the variety of selections are realistic fiction stories, biographies, poetry, and Bible accounts, as well as a drama adaptation of the JourneyForth book, A King for Brass Cobweb. Includes old favorites and exciting new reading selections.

This updated version of the Reading 2A student text has all of the same stories that students have grown to love from the previous edition. An added feature is an adaptation in play form of the fable "The Boy Who Cried ''Wolf.'' Students will learn a valuable lesson as they enjoy acting out this play.
