Welcome to the 2016 Reading Challenge! It's the second week of June and the program is going strong, with over 450 kids signed up so far. Here are a few things we want to make sure you know about as we get started.
- If you have a book that you'd like us to add to the list, send your request to readingchallenge@exodusbooks.com no later than July 31st and we'll consider it (no guarantees)
- Booklists can be found on this page.
- For local participants, we're hosting story time every Thursday at 3PM in the children's section.
Also, there are a couple of extra, optional ways to win prizes this year. The $5 gift certificate for reading five books from our list is still guaranteed, as well as the random drawing for kids who reach the drawing goals, but kids who want more of a challenge will have a few extra ways to win.
- The genre challenge is for avid readers who are able to read a number of books within specific genres.
- Students who write book reviews on our website will be entered into a weekly drawing for a $5 Exodus gift certificate.
