But Flicka comes from a long line of wild horses, and taming her will take more than Ken could ever have imagined. Soon, Ken is faced with an impossible choice: give up on his beautiful horse, or risk his life to fight for her.

  The Book Is About....
Annika of Seattle, 6/24/2016
This book is about a boy named Ken who lives on a ranch in Wyoming. when Ken finally is given permission to raise a colt, like his older brother Howard, he decides on filly with a stubborn bloodline. The filly's mother, Rocket was bred by a wild Mustang and Rocket following her bloodline was never broken. Ken's father thinks that flicka (his colt) is loco (crazy) and does not approve of Kens choice. This story is definitely not for action story people, its very mild.
