A cartoon illustrated book on the Lord's Supper giving arguments for closed communion, answering objections and referencing the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
Lockman might go a little overboard on the logistics and setting of communion because of his stand on the "Regulative Principle" of worship. But we still feel most of his arguments are sound, and unfortunately many of the basics he covers are not well known by average church-goers. Could easily be read and understood by even younger teens who are interested.
Table of Contents:
Part I: Open Communion vs. Closed Communion
Part II: Objections to Closed Communion Answered, the Occasion of Serving Communion, the Logistics of serving Communion, Sacrifices Offered to Idols
Part III: The Westminster Shorter Catechism on the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper
