The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent condition, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

John Sager was only thirteen when his parents died on the Oregon Trail, leaving John and his six young brothers and sisters to fend for themselves. The Sagers were bound for Oregon Territory, carrying all they'd need for a new start in their Conestoga wagon. Now that Ma and Pa were gone, everything was up to John. He didn't know how he could lead the others all the way to Oregon, still more than 700 miles away.

But Ma and Pa had wanted that and John was determined to succeed—for them.

This exciting story based on fact tells an incredible tale of the courage and endurance of seven young pioneers.
