Granny's Memorial Service
March 14, 2009
My great-grandmother, Viola Louise Gwinn, died earlier this year. We joined my family at her memorial service. She is my father's mother's mother and my children are three of her four great-great-grandchildren—though Lucy and the new baby never got to meet her. Joshua is her oldest great-great-grandchild, I am her oldest great-grandchild, my dad is her oldest grandchild, and my grandma Judy is her oldest child.

There was one rose for each of Granny's decendants: forty-five in all.

While we were in Spokane, we also got to visit with my Great-Grandpa Gwinn.

I got to take home the roses representing me and my three children.
