On June 23rd, 2007 I was privileged to be in the wedding of my good
friend Johanna Forster - or Conser, as she is now.
Johanna is the daughter of John and Pam Forster (from
Doorposts
Publishing) and we have gone
to the same church for years and years.
Eli and I have been looking forward to John and Johanna's marriage.
We knew we'd have lots in common and were excited to be able to
fellowship with them as a couple. Already we've talked to them
for hours at a picnic and had them over for dinner after church.
We anticipate watching with pleasure as they grow their family in
the Lord.
This was probably me smiling at Eli as we listened to John and
Johanna say their vows. They were almost, if not exactly,
identical to ours.
The church was a very beautiful building in Corvallis where John
Conser's parents were married.
Their reception was one of the most fun that I've attended.
There was lots of dancing and many of the guests participated
merrily. For their first dance, the couple did the dance from
the
Scarlet Pimpernel.
