Sunrise over the Ocean

In the gray morning light, we got dressed and drove to the beach.
The sun was just beginning to rise over the Atlantic Ocean.
I haven't seen many sunrises in my life, but this was definitely the first time I'd seen it rise over the ocean!
Slowly it climbed into the sky.
Slowly...and yet every time you looked away it made noticeable progress.
The beach was quiet, the sand unmarked, and the tourists were still in bed.

It promises to be a beautiful day!
