After more than a week of traveling from Key West, FL to Mobile, AL,
we were happy to relax in a home with our good friends and cousins,
the Mahars.
After all the hotels and restaurants we'd been in, their house felt
very homey.
It was even fun to help in the kitchen!
And in the backyard. Isaac had been working on this fence
and Eli got to dig a couple post holes.
Alaina had grown remarkably since we saw her last and we were glad
to finally meet Katrina, who was born about a week after Joshua.
It was refreshing to spend a few days with Isaac and Lydia and the
girls; we had missed playing games, watching movies, and having long
discussions since they left Oregon in January, 2005 when Isaac
joined the Coast Guard.
