Lydia Mahar (Eli's cousin) was our
wedding coordinator
and she did a wonderful job making my dreams become realities.
Nathaniel (my youngest brother) was
supposed to escort my mom down the aisle,
but at the last minute he decided to be obstinate. She ended
up carrying him.
My brother Zack and my friend Sara Dahlin
Eli's brother David and my friend Sara Cone
Eli's siblings Sam and Leah
The best man and maid of honor:
Isaac Mahar and Hannah Payne
The ring bearers:
Eli's brother Nathan and my brother Jonny
The flower girls scattering daisy heads.
It's almost time!
Lydia is off to the right waiting for the right moment in the music
to tell the boys to open the doors.
Chris (my brother) and Benjamin
(Eli's brother) opened the doors
right when the music swelled and my dad and I entered the sanctuary.
Everything about the processional went perfectly.
Pastor Chris Wilson performed the
ceremony.
Nathan gives Eli my ring and the roll of paper
symbolizing the dowry he gave me.
Eli puts the ring on my finger and gives me the
dowry.
I give Jonny the dowry to carry for
me and I put the ring on Eli's finger,
"In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, Amen."
We're married!
Everyone was very happy for us.
My sister Lindsey and my dad give me
warm hugs.
The marriage certificate is signed.
Leah applies my lipstick for me in
preparation for the formal pictures.
