A Digital Video Curriculum that Teaches College Preparatory Biology from a Christian Worldview.
A college preparatory course. Some parts of biology involve memorization of many names and parts. Because of this, about half the lessons do not have a lecture, as Dr. Shormann wants students to spend time defining terms and memorizing facts. The Video Labs include many detailed photographs and videos of microscopic organisms, as well as descriptive earthworm, crayfish, fish, frog and pig dissections. Upon completion of this course and CLEP Professor for Biology (available spring 2009) students can earn up to 8 college credits by passing the CLEP exam.
DIVE Biology is meant to be used in addition to a full biology course such as Apologia Exploring Creation with Biology or Bob Jones University Biology for Christian Schools.
