This intriguing allegorical children's classic takes place in the enchanted city where you will enjoy the wonderful experience of God's great deliverance. It includes the text from three different books: Tales of the Kingdom, Tales of the Resistance, and Tales of the Restoration.
Tales of the Kingdom features twelve stories centering on the adventures of two orphaned brothers who escape a polluted city ruled by an evil enchanter to seek their exiled king in the place where trees grow.
Tales of the Resistance recounts twelve incidents in the resistance against the Enchanter, in which residents of the enchanted City are rescued by the King or his followers as they strive for the Restoration of the Kingdom.
Tales of the Restoration tells the story of the residents of Bright City, as they continue the struggle to subdue evil and to work for the complete restoration of the king and his bride to rule over them.
Each chapter of each book has one full color full page illustration. In addition, there are one or two black and white illustrations in each chapter that are "clipped" from the full color illustration for that chapter. The illustrations are by Jack Stockman, the original illustrator.
