Acts is a pulsating book, full of breathtaking incidents and accomplishments. The early Christians' examples of self-sacrificial determination to fulfill the Lord's calling, despite many obstacles and dangers, is inspiring and revitalizing. The One who enabled these servants to assail such heights for the Kingdom of God is the same Lord who dwells in our hearts by faith. Christ has not changed, His power has not waned, and His goal of making disciples of all the nations is the same today as it was then. This commentary attempts to keep all of this alive by challenging modern Christians to let their hearts be captured by the same zeal and fire that burned in the hearts of God's servants in Acts.
