Adventures of the American Revolution

  Complete but Not Completely Historical

I really enjoyed thsi series when I first read it, because it covers the American revolution from beginning to end. However, they spend alot of time with Annie and her character building issues (pride, lazyness, and I forget the other two but there was one each book). So its not completely about the history: there's the basic moments, but otherwise, not alot of detail. The character building stuff is good, but its fairly heavy handed considering this series is aimed at middle schoolers.
