Theo is an awful boy. He never shares his toys, gives a penny to a beggar, a sausage to a dog or milk to a cat. Some people think it's because he eats too much pepper, but Theo’s Grandma knows the real reason. Theo is awful because he is spoiled. He is given everything he wants and thought too much of by his parents. Fortunately, Grandma also knows the cure. When Theo goes out in the yard one morning, he sees Grandma making a gigantic pie crust. Why would she make such a huge pie? It turns out this pie is Humble Pie, when Grandma seals Theo inside it, it’s about to take him on the ride of his life.

We weren't over-impressed with the style of the illustrations and found the anti-selfishness moral a bit high-handed, but our kids loved this one.
