Exploring Creation with Chemistry is designed to be a first-year high school chemistry course and gives the student a rigorous foundation in the subject, in order to prepare him or her for a college-level course. While the laboratory experiments are designed for the home, some of them are easier with specialized equipment available from Apologia or their supplier for around $60. All of the chemicals used in this course consist of household materials such as table salt, baking soda, dish soap, vinegar, etc.
