Carolyn Mahaney

A Mennonite from rural Virginia, Mahaney became a secretary for a Christian organization where she met her husband C.J. Together they moved to Washington D.C. so C.J. could begin building his ministry. Out of his efforts sprang Covenant Life Church in Gaithersberg, Maryland (where Josh Harris is currently the senior pastor) and the family of churches called Sovereign Grace Ministries. Mahaney has been a pastor's wife for over 30 years, a mother of a younger son and three grown daughters with whom she has built a blog site, a speaker, and an author of books such as Feminine Appeal and Girl Talk.
