North earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside. He is a member of the Presbyterian Covenant Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. North has authored over 42 books including, Honest Money, Unconditional Surrender, and the out-of-print book he co-authored with Robert Thoburn called Christian and Politics. He continues to write about economics and religion.
