Playing cards used to mean more than a couple of red squares with a number. The original card games involved beautifully hand drawn illustrations, representing chance, death, life, eternity, the Christmas story, or even current political events.

The fun thing about this coloring book is the variety of cards shown. You could even make a playable set of your own for many of the games. Or, use as embroidery patterns :).
