This isn't your typical go fish game. Each card bears a full-color image (photograph, painting, etc.) and a brief title describing what it is, whether it's a person, place, building, or event. A total of four games can be played (go fish, collect the cards, chronology, and categories), each one designed to demonstrate connections among the objects and events depicted. Don't expect your kids to learn a lot of history from these; instead, let them play the games until they're familiar with the names and images, thus laying a solid groundwork for more intensive history study later on.
