the Adventures of Tom Sawyer Study Guide

Progeny Press has done a great job covering the highlights of one of Mark Twain's classics. Not only is vocabulary covered in each section of reading, but comprehension questions lead the student to dissect themes and character qualities leading to application in their own lives. The vocabulary is not overwhelming (10 per section), and the analysis section brings out grammar, writing assignments and higher thinking questions. But my favorite is the Dig Deeper section, where Scripture is used for character analysis and evaluation of Biblical standards. I would highly recommend this thorough study for grades 6-8.
